While pondering on the theme “ I will recount all your wonders”, the search for the beauty that God lays before me slowly moves from what the eyes can behold to the unseen realities that cannot be touched but felt from deep within. And gradually leads me to Jeremiah 1:5 - “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations”

How precious each life is, from the moment of conception in our mother’s womb. With no clear features or personality, He already know us in a personal and intimate way that only God can. This painting attempts to capture that beautiful and wonder filled moment- the beginning of our existence in our mother’s womb. When we are still vulnerable and defenceless, how God has already begun to shower us with His divine love, cradling and consecrating us. How He has a personal plan for each one of us, calling us to a fullness of life and to join Him eternally in the heavenly Jerusalem at our journey’s end.

You and I, regardless of our skin colour, social status, gender or age, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14). Thanks be to God!
